Clans Levels and RanksClan Levels and RanksLeveling up a clan allows it to acquire more members, learn additional skills, access different Clan Halls, and use other important clan functions. Below are the requirements to level up a clan increase at each new level:
To achieve clan level 11, the clan leader must own a Radiant Cloak of Light. A Radiant Cloak of Light, as well as regular Cloaks of Light, can be obtained by winning a castle during a Castle Siege, imprinting it as a Castle of Light, and buying the cloaks from the castle NPCs. The clan is not required to own a castle (or a Castle of Light) in order to reach clan level 11. Clan Reputation points can be earned in numerous ways, including by completing clan quests. At most clan levels, a clan unlocks new clan abilities and management functions.
Clan Sub-UnitsWhen a clan leader upgrades the clan’s level by consuming Clan Reputation points, the leader can create sub-units named Royal Guards and Orders of Knights. Sub-units are different groups of clan members to which a clan leader can assign permissions to particular clan management functions or abilities. Royal GuardsWhen a clan reaches level 6, a Royal Guard can be created. Upon creation of a Royal Guard, one of the clan members must be appointed an administrator. Up to two Royal Guards can be created. The maximum number of members serving as Royal Guards is 20. Order of KnightsWhen a clan reaches level 7, an Order of Knights can be created. Upon creation of an Order of Knights, one of the clan members must be appointed as an administrator. Up to two Orders of Knights may be created under one Royal Guard. The maximum number of members in an Order of Knights is 10. DisbandmentOnce created, Royal Guards and Orders of Knights cannot be dissolved unless the clan is dissolved. When the administrator of each unit withdraws from their clan, the unit remains, and the administrator position becomes vacant. In this case, the clan leader must appoint a new administrator. The reappointment of the unit administrator can be completed through an NPC in charge of clan-related activities. Rights within the Clan
There are limits on how many members can be assigned to each sub-unit, including the basic member unit. Therefore, it is required that members be assigned to sub-units before a clan can reach certain levels. The following is a list of the maximum number of clan members for each sub-unit.
Clan RanksA character’s rank is a status title that is displayed at all times in the Target window. It represents the character’s overall participation level in Lineage II and in their clan. Characters that are not in a clan tend to be ranked as Vagabonds. Once a character enters a clan their rank rises. However, a character with no clan can acquire the Baron title by gaining Noblesse status, and the Marquis title by being an Olympiad Hero. Ranks are important to clan members because as their character’s rank rise, more clan skills will be unlocked. Higher ranks become available as the clan’s level rises. The following is a list of different ranks and titles and their requirements.
